On this 449th Foundation Day, we the OMD family is grateful to God the Father, Almighty for inspiring St. John Leonardi, Our Founder and Father, to lay the foundation for our Congregation on 1st September
அன்னை மரியாவின் திருப்பெயர் அன்னை மரியாவின் திருப்பெயரானது ஒரு மேன்மை பொருந்திய, மாண்புமிக்க, அருள் நிறை பெயராக இருக்கிறது. இதையேதான் புனித அல்போன்ஸஸ் மரிய லிகோரியார் தன்னுடைய ‘மரியாவின் மாண்பு’ என்ற புத்தகத்தில் அழகான ஒரு நிகழ்வு வழியாக விளக்குகிறார். துறவி ஒருவர் அழகான பேசும் திறமைக் கொண்ட கிளியை வளர்க்கின்றார். அக்கிளிக்கு ‘மரியே வாழ்க’ என்ற நாமத்தை சொல்லிக் கொடுக்கின்றார். அது யார் அத்துறவியின் இல்லத்திற்கு வந்தாலும் மரியே வாழ்க என்ற நாமம் கொண்டு வரவேற்கும்.
